Children’s illustrated book “The Lion and the Mouse”
Illustrations for the children's book “The Lion and the Mouse” (2025), with text by Camila Nakamura Vieira and published by Editora Sintonia Educação. This work is part of the collection “In the World of Stories – 3 Years”, which features books with tales and fables from various cultures, each illustrated by a different artist. The collection was produced in a flip chart format with spiral binding, allowing teachers to read the stories aloud in the classroom while students follow along with the illustrations.
I created the illustrations for the fable “The Lion and the Mouse”, as well as additional illustrations designed to be cut out and used in classroom activities. The illustrations were developed through digital collage, using handmade elements that were digitized and produced with cutouts, pencil, charcoal, ink, and stamps.
